God's Good Will

Romans 12:2 tells us to '...be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.'

In other words, change your thinking to line up with God's word, and by doing so you will prove that His will is good! Not cancer, not your children dying young, not poverty, but GOOD! The places in the New Testament that talk about our suffering with Him—what did He suffer? Death—and we've already been crucified with Him—and persecution. Yes, the enemy will come against you...but he's already defeated! You're an overcomer!

Renew Your Mind
How do you renew your mind? By opening your eyes to see the unseen...to see what the Word really teaches, to realize that the spiritual realm is real and all around us...to understand that the good promises of God are already settled in heaven and are for you.

3 John 1:2 echoes Romans 12:2. The Holy Spirit, through John, prays 'Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.' Your prosperity and health depend on the prosperity of your soul—your mind, your will and your emotions.

Renew your mind. Then use the keys Jesus gave you to forbid and allow [ref Keys of the Kingdom]. And remember...

'Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.' [James 1:17]

'For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord gives grace and glory; no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.' [Psalm 84:11]

'The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the Lord shall not be in want of any good thing.' [Psalm 34:10]
