'The LORD by wisdom founded the earth, By understanding He established the heavens. By His knowledge the deeps were broken up and the skies drip with dew.' [Proverbs 3:19,20]
How did God found the earth? By His Word! Read Genesis 1: 'Then God said...then God said...then God said...then God said...'
When He spoke, it was immediately created. According to Proverbs, this is Wisdom.
In Proverbs 8, Wisdom describes herself as a master workman, working beside God as He created the earth!
Now consider this:
'"Counsel is mine and sound wisdom; I am understanding, power is mine."By me KINGS REIGN, and RULERS DECREE JUSTICE."By me PRINCES RULE, and NOBLES, all who judge rightly."I love those who love me; and those who diligently seek me will find me."Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, even pure gold, and my yield better than choicest silver."I walk in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice, to endow those who love me with wealth, that I may fill their treasuries."' [Proverbs 8:14-21]
Wisdom is how God created all things...but in this passage we read that wisdom is how kings reign and how treasuries are filled with wealth.
According to Revelations 1:6 and 5:10 we are kings and priests to God!
Now this is interesting...
In the KJV, the Greek word for 'kings' in these scriptures is basileus—leader, prince, commander, lord, king.
In the NAS, the word is translated as 'kingdom' and the Greek word is basileia—royal power, kingship, dominion, rule...the authority to rule over a kingdom, the royal power and dignity conferred on Christians in the Messiah's Kingdom.
Either way, in God's eyes we are rulers on the earth, and we are called to reign in life through Jesus. [Romans 5:17]
Jesus has become to us WISDOM FROM GOD! [1 Corinthians 1:30]
'...but just as it is written, "Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heard of man, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED for those who love Him."'FOR TO US GOD REVEALED THEM through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.'NOW WE HAVE RECEIVED, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that WE MAY KNOW THE THINGS FREELY GIVEN TO US BY GOD...' [2 Corinthians 2:9-12]
Now I realize that most of us have heard the first part of that passage at funerals, trying to explain why we can't understand why whoever has died. READ THE REST OF THE CHAPTER!!
'But he who is spiritual appraises ALL THINGS, yet he himself is appraised by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that He will instruct Him? BUT WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.' [1 Corinthians 2:15-16]
Start to believe the Word, which says you HAVE the Mind of Christ...that you HAVE RECEIVED the Spirit of God that you may KNOW THE THINGS FREELY GIVEN TO US BY GOD! Remember Luke 12:32...
"Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom."
