Substance

The dictionary describes the noun substance as 'the real physical matter of which a person or thing consists and which has a tangible, solid presence; the quality of having a solid basis in reality or fact.'
Proverbs 8 says "...to endow those who love me [Wisdom] with wealth, that I may fill their treasuries [or storehouses]"
The Hebrew word translated for wealth here is yesh, meaning substance, existence, being. So this verse should really read "...to endow those who love me with substance, that I may fill their treasuries."
This is very interesting. From this chapter, we see that Wisdom, a spiritual entity, was established from everlasting, possessed by God at the beginning of His way, beside Him as a master workman when He created the earth.
We also know that Jesus became to us wisdom from God. [1 Corinthians 1:30] 'In Whom [Jesus] are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge'...and we are in Him and He is in us. [Colossians 2:3]
Proverbs 3:16,17 says, speaking of Wisdom, 'Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways and all her paths are peace.'

Power

I was watching a video of a shuttle launch and was struck by the sheer power of the blast.

Immediately I thought of Colossians 1:11 in which the Holy Spirit, through Paul, prays that we may be '...strengthened with ALL POWER, according to His glorious might...' and Ephesians 3:16, '...that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be STRENGTHENED WITH POWER through His Spirit in the inner man...'

We know that the natural world was created from the spiritual. 'By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.' [Hebrews 11:3] Therefore it stands to reason that the spiritual realm is greater than the natural.

Our power is in the Spirit--in our unity with the Lord. And it is more powerful that any rocket fuel, any nuclear reaction.

We just haven't learned how to harness it yet.

Oh...I Get It!

I was just about to launch into a string of scripture-based confessions about my kids and I saw it...or I heard it, or felt it...

Anyway, it was one of those 'Aha!' moments that sort of falls on me.

I saw in an instant that what faith is is believing that it has already come to pass. That God's forever settled Word is already true in the Spirit, and once released into the natural realm by our words, is finished as well.

Jesus summed it up when He said...

"Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but BELIEVES THAT WHAT HE SAYS IS GOING TO HAPPEN, it will be granted him.

"Therefore I say to you, ALL THINGS for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you." [Mark 11:22-24]

Yes, we declare what is to be based on the Word—that is the 'how' part of the equation. But first we must understand that in the Spirit, it is already accomplished! God's Word is settled forever [Ps. 119:89] and He has rested from His works! [Hebrews 4:3,10]

Once we understand by faith that His Word is already accomplished for us in the realm of the Spirit, then we speak it out into the natural world! Decree a thing and it will be established for you! [Job 22:28]

So stop worrying and wringing your hands. The confession or declaration of God's Word into the earth is not some kind of charismatic rosary. Believe that it's done...and it will done unto you according to your faith.

Seated With Him

Ephesians 2:4-6 tells us 'But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus...'

Ephesians 1:3 prefaces this remark with 'Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.'

And we know that God '...seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all."

How is this possible?

Because when we receive Jesus, we die and He is reborn in us--Colossians 2:13 says that '...He [God] made you alive together with Him [Jesus]...'

1 Corinthians 6:17 says that we are '...one spirit with Him.'

In essence, we are born of God [1 John 5:1] and united with Him. He is seated in heavenly places, and so are we, in Christ Jesus.

While we walk on the earth, we are, in quantum reality, seated in heavenly places in Christ because we are one with Him.

It's a quantum fact.

Schrodinger's Cat

A very famous Quantum Physics experiment called Schrodinger's Cat illustrates the principle that there is no single outcome unless it is observed. The cat is either alive or dead—2 probable universes, 2 different realities.
We know from the Bible that multiple realities exist—the natural, physical plane and the spiritual realm. Even within that there appears to be different levels—the heaven where God dwells [and us, too, according to Ephesians 2:6] and a spiritual plane in the earth to which Satan fell when he was thrown down to the earth. [Luke 10:18, Revelation 12:9]
Paul talks about being caught up into the third heaven. [2 Corinthians 12:2]
We know that we are spirits living in earthly bodies—that in our hearts are the highways to Zion [Psalm 84:5] and we know that there is both an earthly and a heavenly Jerusalem. [Hebrews 12:22]
And there are many places in the Word where the veil is pulled back and we see multiple realities intersect as at the mountain of transfiguration, or Jacob’s ladder, or the angels in Bethlehem.
What, Me Worry?
Anyway...I was worrying about money...again!
I had already confessed several wonderful scriptures regarding blessing, abundance and wealth. According to Matthew 16 and 19, I had already bound the enemy and forbidden him to withhold what Jesus had already bought and paid for. I confessed my redemption from the curse.
I particularly confessed that...
  • Jesus became to [made unto, wrought, come to pass] me wisdom and righteousness [1 Corinthians 1:30]
  • Great wealth is in the house of the righteous [Proverbs 15:6]
  • Wisdom endows me with wealth, filling my treasuries [Proverbs 8:21]
  • Long life is in her [Wisdom's] right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor [Proverbs 3:16]
  • Riches and honor are with Wisdom; therefore they are with me [Proverbs 8:18]
  • The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor and life.
Yet I was still feeling extremely anxious, and I know that is usually a sign that my mind is in full rebellion against my reborn spirit, which is full of God. And the rebellion is usually instigated by the deceiver, who shows me all sorts of horrible outcomes and points to seemingly intransigent circumstances.
Which of course leads to the mind loop "I can't see any way...what am I going to do...I can't see any way...what am I going to do...ad infinitum"
And Then I Heard...
I heard/felt/saw/knew that familiar voice, saying "Oh...so you really think the money is not there..."
I knew immediately what He meant. Even with all my dutiful confessions, I didn't really believe that anything was happening. Instead of believing that what I say is going to happen, I was speaking in fear and unbelief. Instead of believing I received when I prayed, I got up from prayer and immediately started worrying.
What I failed to remember was Hagar's well. And the Palm Sunday donkey...and the fish with the coin in its mouth. Isaac's ram, Elisha's army, the lunch that fed 5000...not to mention all the things the Word says we're surrounded by! [read Decreed]
I forgot that all things already belong to me, and I belong to Christ, and Christ belonged to God. [1 Corinthians 3:23] I forgot that the spiritual plane of existence is real and complete and finished. That I am in Christ, and in Christ is a completely different place than just being in the world by myself.
To be more specific, my needs were met before the foundation of the world, because God said they were...and His works were finished from the foundation of the world!
Choices
So I have two choices in every situation. I can choose to believe God's forever settled Word, complete and finished in heaven, in the Spirit where I am seated in Christ. I can choose to believe that my faith in His Word—seeing it and speaking it as already done—brings spiritual realities into physical manifestation. I can believe Jesus when He told me to speak to circumstances and they would obey.
Or, I can choose to believe my circumstances and satan's lies, even though I know he's a liar, a killer and a thief. [John 8:44; 10:10] Even though I know that the things which are seen are temporal—temporary—while the things which are not seen are eternal. [2 Corinthians 4:18]
Even though we are told explicitly to look NOT at the things which are seen but at the things which are NOT SEEN. To walk by faith and NOT sight...[2 Corinthians 5:7]
I can choose to listen to the liar and give in to the fear...even though I know that what I fear comes upon me and what I dread befalls me. [Job 3:25]
Believe You Receive
As always, the bottom line is faith.
To believe you receive when you pray, or to believe that what you say is going to happen, you must have an acute awareness of the reality of the Kingdom of Heaven. You must know for a certainty that God's Word is forever settled and His works finished from the foundation of the world.
You must see the unseen when you pray or speak in faith. You must believe that if Jesus told you to speak to physical reality and it would obey you, He was telling the truth.
You must know that your bank account is filled with wealth by Wisdom the moment you agree with God's decree that it is. Technically, it was filled before the foundation of the world, just like Hagar's well.
Don't Waver
Finally, don't waver in unbelief. Speaking of Abraham, Romans 4:20 says '...yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God.'
Giving glory to God is very important. In this context, it means to give Him glory and honor and praise for the thing already done. That's what Abraham did. He didn't waver in his faith. [He wavered in his behavior, alright, because he thought he had to make it happen...and what a mess!]
But he never lost sight of the promise! And once he started calling himself Father of Nations, the promise came to pass almost immediately. [Hmmm...]
Don't waver. See the promised of God as finished for you according to 2 Corinthians 1:20—see the unseen forever settled Word as complete in your life. See it with the eyes of your heart, then speak it. It is finished

Use Your Power

I woke up early the other day with use your power in my head.

What power?

The power that abides or dwells in my inner man through the Holy Spirit!

Consider these scriptures:

‘But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He Who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.’ [Romans 8:11]

‘…that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man…’ [Ephesians 3:16]

‘Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us…’ [Ephesians 3:20]

‘…strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience…’ [Colossians 1:11]

That's resurrection power He's talking about! The very power that raised Jesus from the dead, when all hell was fighting against Him, is inside every reborn believer!

In fact, the Greek word for power in these Scriptures is dunamis—miraculous power, might, strength. He works by the miracle-working power within us—the Holy Spirit.

How Do We Use the Power?
That's the real question...ok, I've got the power of God inside of my reborn spirit—not just some power, but ALL power. How do I use it?

Look at Jesus. He's our Elder Brother and example...how did He use His power? For we know that it is God's will that we do the same and greater works than He did! [John 14:12]

In every instance, He used His mouth. He spoke to sick and crippled bodies, to dead people, to donkeys and fish and storms [oh my!]. And then, He told us to do the same thing!

"...for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you." [Matthew 17:20]

'And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen."' [Matthew 21:21]

‘And Jesus answered saying to them, "Have faith in God. "Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. "Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.’ [Mark 11:22-24]

'And the Lord said, "If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and be planted in the sea;' and it would obey you." [Luke 17:6]

Faith...Again
The room at Passover...how did He know there was going to be a donkey? Because He thought like God! He knew that if He said it, it would happen, period. Same with the fig tree...He walked away, knowing it would work.

In fact, that’s how He arranged for the room they used for the Passover meal—He said it! He didn’t do a search on available catering venues, make some calls, meet with caterers…He SAID it!

Likewise at the tomb of Lazarus, the house of the ruler of the synagogue, the wedding at Cana, the fish with money in it’s mouth, etc. etc.

If Jesus had been thinking like a man, He would have secretly entered the ruler's house through the back door, quietly gone in and laid hands on her to see if it would work or not...NO! He knew it would work, so He boldly went and threw all the mourners out! Just as He boldly walked up to the tomb of Lazarus and commanded Him to get up! He didn't go secretly, wringing His hands and crying 'Dear God, I hope this works! Maybe I'll take a little off the top just in case it doesn't...'

He used His power, and His power is fully resident within us.

Stop for a minute and mediate on that. John 1 says all things came into being through Him—now that’s power!

Why does it always come back to faith? Because faith...seeing it as finished [heart] and speaking it [mouth] is just the way the universe really works. This is not just for the reborn, either...the book of Proverbs is loaded with references to using the mouth to produce natural reality. And let's not forget the Tower of Babel story, either...God had to stop them before they became unstoppable, and they were doing it with their mouths!

It's tough for us in the developed world to grasp this truth—we've been thoroughly brainwashed through secular reason and humanism.

But it's true, anyway, whether we choose to believe it or not. Our choice to believe only affects whether or not we will benefit from the practice of active faith, personally.

So use your power. Speak the Word into your life.

Hallelujah!

Use Your Power

I woke up early the other day with "Use your power" in my head.

Camping in the Desert

Ever been stuck in a bad place? I mean really stuck, for a long time?
Preachers call it the wilderness experience, referring to the 40 years the Israelites spent wandering around in the desert. We've all heard sermons about it, most of them of the 'grin and bear it' genre...you know, it's God's will for you, He's trying to teach you something there, everyone has to go through it, it's part of the Christian life, etc
What a load of horse hockey!
Go back and read the story...it was NOT God's will for them to be trapped in the desert! It was His will for them to enter the Promised Land—the blessings He had already prepared for them!
Unbelief
Hebrews 3:19 tells us exactly what happened. 'So we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief.'
They didn't believe that He could or would do what He had promised. It's as simple as that.
Hebrews 4:2 explains '...the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard.' They heard God's word, they knew His promise. They just didn't unite it with their faith...and by their faith it was done unto them.
God was ready. He had spoken, not only about the Promised Land, but He had spoken an eternal covenant with Abraham to bless his descendants. The land was prepared beforehand for them...waiting for them.
They just couldn't see it. And because they couldn't see any way, they didn't believe the promises of God.
When faced with the choice of believing God and obeying His command to take the land or side with the 10 spies who said 'there's no way,' they chose disobedience.
They didn't think of it as disobedience. They thought they were being realistic, careful...rational.
But that's not the way God saw it. '...those who formerly had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience...' [Hebrews 4:6]
Can I Leave Yet?
So if you're camped out in the wilderness, wondering when you can move forward and enter the place of blessedness, I've got good news for you!
It's now. NOW. But like Dorothy, you've got to click those red shoes together...you've got to believe!
The first step is to drop all erroneous teachings that God wants you in the wilderness for [whatever] purpose.
It's not true. Romans 12:2 tells us 'And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.'
His will is GOOD and ACCEPTABLE and PERFECT. And He want you to prove it! James 1:7 says 'EVERY GOOD THING given and EVERY PERFECT GIFT is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with Whom there is NO VARIATION OR SHIFTING SHADOW.'
In other words, God is not capricious—He doesn't play favorites, and He doesn't bless or curse on a whim.
Does it sometimes seem as if we're in the wilderness? Yes, absolutely. But it is a deception based on feelings and transient circumstances. Remember, what is seen is temporal—temporary, for a season—what is unseen is eternal. [2 Corinthians 4:18] The word of our God stands forever. [Isaiah 40:8]
What About The Manna?
Doesn't God's provision of manna in the wilderness prove that He wanted them there?
No, it proves that He lives up to His commitments.
He promised Abraham to take care of His descendants. Even though they were out of His will, He had an obligation to care for them because of His covenant with Abraham. He blessed them as much as they could believe Him for...but 40 years of the same sticky crackers was NOT His best intention for them!
Ask yourself this...why did He get so mad when they asked for meat? Because if they had only believed Him, they'd have been eating meat, potatoes, two veg every night! That was His plan for them...it was their disobedience that kept them eating manna for 40 years! Then they turned around and whined that they never got meat! Sure sounds familiar...
There was a lot of whining in that desert, I'll tell you—40 years worth. Read Exodus through Numbers some time...yikes! I think God showed great restraint in not wiping them all out!
The reason the Israelites wandered for 40 years is that the non-believers had to die off before the new generation could enter by their faith! I don't know about you, but I don't want to die in the desert!
By Your Faith...
Jesus told several of the people He performed miracles for 'by your faith be it done unto you.'
Then there's Mark 11:22-24...
'And Jesus answered saying to them, "Have faith in God.
"Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.
"Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you."'
To have faith in God, you must BELIEVE that what you say is going to happen. You must BELIEVE YOU RECEIVE WHEN YOU PRAY. Gee-I-really-hope-this-works-but-I-can't-see-any-way doesn't really cut it.
At the Airport
God put Himself in your flesh-and-blood body so He could bring His will to pass in the earth THROUGH YOUR MOUTH, by your faith. While you're camping in the desert, crying out to Him for deliverance, He's standing at the gate of your promised land, waiting for you to show up!
Or as my husband is fond of saying, your ship has come in and you're at the airport!
Get your stuff together and get out of there! Make up your mind to believe God and His Word no matter what the circumstances look like!
You may have your back to the Red Sea with the most powerful army in the world bearing down on you, metaphorically speaking, wondering where God is.
I'll tell you where He is...He's standing between you and them, waiting for you to raise your staff and go through water on dry land!
The River Jordan
Did you know that God performed that same miracle twice? In Joshua 3, the Israelites found themselves stopped by water again...the Jordan River.
This time the priests had to actually get their feet wet...proceed on the Word of the Lord even when it didn't look like anything was happening!
And that is the very crux of the issue. Faith requires that we look at the unseen, not the seen, to bring the unseen into manifestation.
There came a day when Israel was enjoying all that the Promised Land had to offer. But first, the new generation had to believe God—believe in the unseen—and put their trust in Him. Once His Word was united with faith, they were able to enter His Rest.
Once they had entered His Rest in the spirit, they could take the Promised Land in the natural. But they had to see with the eyes of faith it as already done first. That's believing you have received—see it as finished! Because, as you know, Hebrews 4:3,10 tell us that He has ALREADY rested from His works—His works were FINISHED from before the foundation of the world!
The unseen realm—the realm of the spirit—is real, and it is complete. We use our faith to access His already fulfilled Word and bring it into our lives.
Remember the Lord's Prayer? "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN..." [Matthew 6:10]
So it is for us. Unite His promises with faith, be diligent to enter His rest. See the unseen—see His promises as already accomplished in your life, confess them as done with thanksgiving. Enter into your promised land.
'Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
'For by these [His own glory and excellence] He has granted to us HIs precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.' [2 Peter 1:2-4]
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things ? [Romans 8:32]
For all things belong to you, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come; all things belong to you, and you belong to Christ; and Christ belongs to God.' [1 Corinthians 3:22,23]
'For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God.' [2 Corinthians 4:15]
'And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.' [Ephesians 1:22,23]
'I can do all things through Him Who strengthens me.' [Philippians 4:13]
'Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.' [1 Timothy 6:17]
'For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.' [1 Corinthians 1:20]

How Did He Do That? [Repost]

[from 02/03/2009]
If it is true that the highways to Zion are in our hearts, and that we are already seated in heavenly places in Christ, that we have already come to Mt. Zion…

And if it is further true that God has rested from His works and we are told to enter that rest…

And if, in fact, after the New Birth, the Triune God—the Alpha and Omega—is the only Spirit dwelling in these earthen vessels…

And finally, if we are told to do greater works than Jesus did as His Body in the Earth [as He is, so are we in this world]…

Then we need to understand how He walked, how He operated! He operated in both realms—the physical and the spiritual.

We see in many places where the veil is lifted for us to glimpse the unseen—the Spirit—and are in fact told to walk in the Spirit. We are also told that all things are given to us, and that all things are possible for us.

Quantum Physics theorizes that there are, in fact, innumerable universes based on probable outcomes. For example, there is a universe where you marry one person, and another where you marry someone else. One where you live in New York, another where you don’t. Etc, etc.

Endless branchings occur from each choice—there’s a universe where you’re rich, and one where you are not.

The Kingdom of Heaven
The universe where God dwells is called the Kingdom of Heaven, and it is inside of you! It is the place called ‘In Christ’ where every promise of God is ‘Yes.’ It is ‘In The Spirit,’ ‘The Unseen,’ ‘The Heavenly Jerusalem’…and it is eternal. It is how God could show a prophet back or forward in time, and in that place, there is authority over the physical world.

Jesus operated in both the corrupted physical universe and In the Spirit. Adam also walked in both realities, until he chose to cut himself off from the Father. The Word says he was expelled from the garden, not that that garden was rolled up and put away! Angels were set to guard the entrances.

When there was no wine at the wedding of Cana, He switched to that place of endless blessing and supply where the pots were in fact filled with the finest wine. He knew it would be there—that’s how He could, in confidence, send the steward a ladleful of what appeared to be [and in fact was, to start with] only water.

When he told Peter to go get a fish out of the sea and it would have a coin in it’s mouth to pay the tax with, He switched to the place of infinite possibilities where a fish had just scooped up a shiny object from the sea floor—He knew that it was possible, because all things are possible to Him who believes…so He chose with His mouth!!!

When He needed somewhere to eat the Passover with His disciples, He told them to go to a specific place and tell a specific man that He needed his guest room…Mark’s versions actually says ‘My’ guest room! He chose with His mouth that possibility! That man, that room!

Same with the colt He would later ride into Jerusalem. He sent them to get a specific donkey tied up at a specific place...how did He know it was there? Because He knew He was the heir of all things, and that He could choose a potentiality with His mouth. He knew the donkey would be there because He said so, and He knew that what He said would happen. [Mark 11:23]

Every healing, every deliverance, every resurrection that He performed was based on an understanding of how things really work. He was the very agent of Creation, the Word Incarnate, and He knew that the physical, natural world that we see with our natural eyes is not all there is.

Couldn’t Touch Him…
Even when murderous mobs tried to throw Him off of a cliff or stone Him, He chose the reality where they couldn’t/didn’t touch Him, and turned and walked off. He understood the fullness of blessing, operating from the Kingdom of Heaven, where all is whole and abundant and complete. And He chose each probability accordingly.

When the soldiers came for Him and asked Him if He was Jesus the Nazarene, He said “I am He” and they all fell to the ground! Even then, He had a sense of humor…I guess He just stood there, rolled His eyes and waited for them to get up and get over the shock of what had just happened. Then He let them bind Him and take Him away, proving for all time that it was His choice to go and die for us all.

He knew it…He saw it…He said it. Faith, in the heart and in the mouth, is the agent of choice.

God told Israel ‘I have set before you blessing and cursing, life and death. So choose life…’ Jesus explains that, in the New Covenant, He IS that life, and He dwells in us, with the Father, by the Holy Spirit. All possibilities are ours, and we, like Him, are to choose life in every situation.

God has rested from His works—they were finished from the foundation of the world. [Hebrews 4:3,4] Every promise is already fulfilled in Christ. And we are already in that kingdom, raised up with Him and seated with Him in heavenly places, His joint-heirs! When the Holy Spirit, through Paul, said that He has given us all things richly to enjoy, He meant it! Every good potentiality is ours for the choosing!

And that’s how He did it!

Emergency Confessions

Confess these out loud as many times as you need to calm your spirit and boost your faith...they are all directly from the Word.

I am One Spirit with the Lord, filled with His Spirit...the Father and Son dwell in this earthen vessel by the power of the Holy Spirit. I am the temple of God, filled with His glory.

As He is, so am I in the earth. I am born of God and have overcome evil spirits. Greater is He Who is in me than he who is in the world.

God Himself continually grants me peace—shalom—in every circumstance! He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I ask or think according to the power that works in me.

The Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord gives grace and glory. No good thing does He withhold from me because in Jesus, I am upright before Him.

God is my refuge and fortress...I trust in Him. Angels have been given charge over me and guard me in all my ways. No evil shall befall me, no plague shall come near my dwelling. I tread upon the lion and cobra, the young lion and the serpent I trample down. Because I have loved Him, He has delivered me; He has set me securely on high, because I have known His name. I call upon Him and He answers me; He is with me in trouble; He rescues me and honor me. With a long life He satisfies me and lets me see His salvation.

I have been strengthened with all miracle-working power [gr. dunamis] in my inner man...I am rooted and grounded in love and I know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge. I am filled up to all the fullness of God.

I am blessed with Abraham the Believer. The promises were spoken to him and to his seed...I belong to Christ and I am Abraham's descendant, an heir according to promise.

If God is for me, who can be against me? No man can stand before me any of the days of my life...just as He was with Moses and Joshua, He is with and in me.

No weapon formed against me shall prosper and every tongue that accuses in judgment I will condemn.

No harm befalls me because I've been made the righteousness of God in Christ...the evil one doesn't touch me.

Enter His Rest Today

Read Hebrews 3, 4
Hebrews 3 and 4 have a lot to say about the rest of God. We know that He has rested from His works [4:10] and that those works were finished from the foundation of the world [4:3]
We were given the example of the Israelites, who were unable to enter the Promised Land—His covenant promise to them, His rest for them—because of disobedience [3:18]. And we see that disobedience stems from unbelief [3:19].
Paul further explains in verse 4:2 that '...the WORD they heard did NOT profit them, because it was not UNITED BY FAITH in those who heard.'
In other words, they had the promise of God, but did not accept it by faith. He had a specific rest for His natural people...a land flowing with milk and honey, a place of abundance and peace. But they just didn't believe His Word, and faith united with His Word is what brings spiritual blessings into manifestation in the earth.

Wow! [That's all I could think of...]

All things belong to us NOW! That's why, when you stop and 'feel' the joy and gratitude of our requests or desires being finished—being complete and done—it's not just some New Age fraud! You've just experienced a glimpse of the truth! When we 'see' the thing as being already done, we're just seeing that dimension where all things that we pray and ask for are already granted.

God has rested from His works [Hebrews 4:3] and His Word is settled forever [Psalm 119:89]! All of His promises are already accomplished! [2 Corinthians 1:20] It is our creative faith—seeing it and saying it—that brings it into manifestation in the earth. Stop looking at circumstances, stop listening to lies, no matter where they're from.

Commit—set your face like a flint—to believe that every promise is already fulfilled for you now, every request is yours now. Know that the giants are stripped of all their power...that you have authority over all the power of the devil!

Watching over His Word

Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven. [Psalm 119:89]
'Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it."' [Jeremiah 1:12]
"So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." [Isaiah 55:11]
Put these verses together and you get WOW!!
First, the Hebrew word translated word in all three of these verse is dabar...which means both word and thing! God's word is the thing He intends it to be when it comes out of His mouth! [Hint: read Genesis 1...]
