Don't Look Up 2

When we read that we're seated in Him in heavenly places, we tend to think of ourselves as visitors in that place...seated in Him, but still somehow separates.
NO!! WE BELONG THERE! Why? Because we are one Spirit with the Lord! [1 Corinthians 6:17]
We were crucified WITH Him [Romans 6:6, Galatians 2:20], buried WITH Him in baptism and raised up WITH Him when He was raised from the dead! [Colossians 2:12, Ephesians 5,6]
We were made alive WITH Him and seated IN Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus! [Ephesians 2:6]
BY HIS DOING YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS!! [1 Corinthians 1:30]
In A Nutshell
Here it is, in a nutshell. We were crucified IN HIM, we were buried IN HIM, we were raised up and seated in heavenly places IN HIM. We are ONE SPIRIT WITH THE LORD.
We are NOT separate from Him, and He is NOT separate from the Father or the Holy Spirit. That's why 1 John 4:17 says '...as He IS, so also are we IN THIS WORLD.'
We are His Body...we are not separate.
'For IN HIM all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and IN HIM you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority...' [Colossians 2:9,10]
This is why the Holy Spirit prays that we be filled up to ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD! [Ephesians 3: 19] This was His plan from the beginning, that we would be one with Him! That His glory would fill the earth! And we are the vessels of that glory...
Jesus is called the Last Adam [1 Corinthians 15:45] and the Firstborn of Many Brethren, the Firstborn From The Dead [Romans 8:29, Colossians 1:18]
Consider what He prayed at the Last Supper...
"The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I IN THEM AND YOU IN ME, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, EVEN AS YOU HAVE LOVED ME. [John 17:22,23]
We are one with Him, and He is One with the Father. We are not separate, we are no longer strangers to God, we are not visitors in heavenly places.
'But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God,the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.' [Hebrews 12:22-24]
Born of God
1 John tells us, in several places, that we are born of God. Jesus is the Firstborn, and we are His siblings, born AGAIN of the imperishable seed, which is the living and enduring WORD OF GOD. [1 Peter 1:23]
Do we always look like Jesus on the outside? Probably not. But 1 John 3:9 tells us 'No one who is born of God practices sin, because HIS SEED ABIDES IN HIM; and he cannot sin, because HE IS BORN OF GOD.' Since this is clearly not talking about our physical selves, it must be talking about our spirits. And in our re-born spirits we are full of God.
We are the temples of God, and like the natural temple of old, we are filled with His glory. Hallelujah!
Remember who you are in Christ and where you are seated. When you speak to devils and mountains, look down.
