Clothed, Crowned, Surrounded

Clothed
Did you know that we are clothed in the spirit?
‘…for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.’
Clothed with Christ! Right now! Seated in heavenly places in Him [Ephesians 2:6], one Spirit with the Lord [1 Corinthians 6:17], with the mind of Christ [1 Corinthians 2:16]. Strengthened with all power in the inner man. [Colossians 1:11], rooted and grounded in love and filled up to all the fullness of God. [Ephesians 3:17-19]

And that’s not all! According to Revelations, we are priests to God…
‘Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness, And let Your godly ones sing for joy.’ [Psalm 132:9]
‘…let Your priests be clothed with salvation and let your godly ones rejoice in what is good.’ [2 Chronicles 6:41]
God is clothed, too…
‘Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty.’ [Psalm 104:1]
‘The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; the Lord has clothed and girded Himself with strength…’ [Psalm 93:1]
According to the Word, those who hate God are clothed with shame, dishonor and horror. Psalm 109:18 says he who loves cursing will be ‘…clothed with cursing as a garment.’

Think about it. In the spirit, we are clothed with Christ…clothed with righteousness and salvation.

Crowned
Not only clothed, but crowned!
‘”She Wisdom] will place on your head a garland of grace; she will present you with a crown of beauty."’ [Proverbs 4:9]
‘What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, and You crown him with glory and majesty!’ [Psalm 8:4,5]
‘Who [God] redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion…’ [Psalm 103:4]
‘For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround [or crown] him with favor as with a shield.’ [Psalm 5:12]
Surrounded
Surrounded, too!
‘For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround [or crown] him with favor as with a shield.’ [Psalm 5:12]
‘You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs [or shouts] of deliverance. Selah.’ [Psalm 32:7]
‘As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.’ [Psalm 125:2]
‘The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear [or revere] Him. and rescues them.’ [Psalm 34:7]
Why Is This Important?
It is important to realize that we exist in more than one dimension.

Our bodies and natural circumstances demand so much of our attention that we tend to forget who we are, really. Jesus is the Word, and we are the Word multiplied [Acts 12:24], His Body in the earth.

Clothed with Christ, crowned with beauty, surrounded by shouts of deliverance!

And get this…according to Psalm 32:7, that’s God Who’s doing the shouting! He’s shouting our deliverance, and His Word is settled forever! [Psalm 119:89]

And He fully intends for His Word to accomplish what He sent it for!
‘So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth ; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.’ [Isaiah 55:11]
It’s important for us to know who we really are, so that we can do the greater works we we created for.
Hallelujah!
